Dallas, Texas (Reuters) – Police said they found a woman dead and a suspect in her death after a woman died of an apparent overdose on a security camera in a suburban Dallas suburb on Sunday, and a police source said that suspect was not being treated.
The Dallas Police Department said in a statement that a woman in her 50s was found in her home with apparent medical problems and that her death was being investigated.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead, the statement said.
Police said they did not have a motive for the death, but that they were investigating whether it was related to drug or alcohol abuse.
“This incident is a tragedy for the entire community and the entire Dallas Police Dept,” Dallas Police Chief David Brown said in the statement.
